A Palette of Dreams Unveiled
Maria Arida's story begins in the tumultuous backdrop of Beirut in 1967. A child of the civil war, she sought refuge with her family in the enchanting streets of Paris, France, where she blossomed and pursued her studies.
In 1990, Maria's creative journey took a decisive turn as she graduated from ESMOD Paris, triumphantly clinching victory in a prestigious competition. This milestone marked the inception of her career as a fashion designer and stylist, igniting her passion for the world of design and creativity.
Yet, for Maria Arida, creativity knows no bounds. Drawn by the allure of colors and shapes, she found herself captivated by the timeless works of Cezanne, prompting her to embark on a journey into the realm of painting.
In November 2022, Maria Arida unveiled her artistic vision to the world through her first solo exhibition at Mission Art. Here, amidst the vibrant tapestry of colors and shapes, she invited audiences to immerse themselves in her unique perspective, woven with echoes of her past and dreams for the future.
